this is my main playlist. i used to be really stuck on what genres i liked. when i was a lot younger than i am now i listened to video game music, whatever was popular on tik tok, and stupid shit like hamilton. eigth grade into freshmen year i transitioned over into hip hop. i don't listen to much hip hop anymore but i still retain an unholy amount of memory for every artist i listened to. now i'm deep into whatever side of the emo world you can label what i listen to as. i prefer dreamo. HUM's probably my favorite band.
undoubtedly my greatest inspiration of all time, not only musically but just in general, is forever's forecast by yun head. everything about it to me is amazing. forever's forecast is a great song and cellphone machine is much more somber but still amazing. something about it has always clicked in my head. yun head's past of making, very honestly, dogshit music, followed by that is amazing to me. i do still enjoy his new stuff under the name steven kou though.
